Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rashid on Wednesday submitted a resolution to the assembly secretary against the statement of Prime Minister Sharif about the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The lawmaker, in his resolution, stated that the prime minister had created fear and panic among government servants and his statement was an attempt to stop the state institution from checking corruption in the country. He said his statement was unconstitutional and was tantamount to threatening the NAB. The resolution demanded PM Sharif withdrew his statement.
