A spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that it has come repeatedly to the notice of PTI Election Commission that few important personalities including Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif have become the member of PTI through electronic generation system.A clarification in this regard has already been issued, but once again it is clarified that PTI is happy because such prominent personalities are becoming members of the party. “We thought that Shehbaz Sharif will become the member of the PTI in 2018 but he has joined party earlier.A clarification has already been issued for the convenience of members; PTI system registers the vote by entering name and CNIC number. The Election Commission immediately after registering the vote forward the data to Election Commission of Pakistan Number 8300 and gets the further verification from Pakistan Election Commission.In case of non-verification the membership is blocked. In this particular case if somebody has entered right name and CNIC No of Shehbaz Sharif then he would have become the member.In case any mischievous person has done it then the membership must have been blocked and the person who has played this mischievous activity, his telephone no cannot be used for further membership of the party.
