SHC dissatisfied over police steps on recovery of missing persons

Sindh High Court (SHC) has expressed dissatisfaction over police steps for recovery of five missing persons and issued notices to DG Rangers Sindh and IG Sindh for March 7.

A two-member bench of SHC led by Justice Ahmad Ali Sheikh took up the case for hearing on Monday.

The court while expressing dissatisfaction over the steps taken by police on the petitions seeking recovery of five persons who have gone missing in Karachi issued notices to DG Rangers Sindh and IG Sindh Police for March 7.

The court directed them to appear before it on March 7 and file before it complete information about the missing persons.

The court also ordered that the case of missing persons be registered in the police station from whose jurisdiction they went missing.
