A three-day urs of saint of sub-continent Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam concluded here on Tuesday after prayers for peace and prosperity of the country.
Addressing the concluding session of the urs, the caretaker of the shrine Mukhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi stressed the need for following the teachings of saints. He observed that teachings of saints were of vital importance to guide humanity towards peace.
He said the think tank of America and other countries had realised the need to understand message of the Muslim saints.
He said that he would visit Sindh in the next month to activate workers of Jamat-e-Ghosia to play role for bringing change in the province.
He said the children were dying of water and different diseases but the Sindh government was not paying any attention to resolve the people’s genuine problems especially of Thar area.
Pir Khalid Sultan, Allam Mazhar Saeed Kazmi, Mufti Abdul Qavi, DCO Zahid Saleem Gondal, District and Sessions Judge Qaisar Nadeem and others were also present on the occasion.
