Supreme Court (SC) has been moved against Dr Asim Hussain.
Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi, a citizen has filed a petition in the apex court under article 184 (3) of the constitution, making Sindh government, DG Rangers and others respondents.
The petitioner has taken plea that Dr Asim has dual citizenship and evidence has come to surface against him. Cases of terrorism and others are running against him. Dr Asim has allegedly facilitated terrorists by providing medical treatment in his hospitals. He has also been found involved in other matters.
The petitioner prayed to the court that all the records of the cases against Dr Asim to be check and relief be provided in this regard as per law and constitution.
