The Mayor of Istanbul, Turkey, Dr Kadir Topbas, arrived here on Monday for a two-day visit.
Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the distinguished guest at the airport. Children presented bouquet to Dr Kadir Topbas. Speaking on the occasion, Sharif said that we warmly welcome Mayor Istanbul Dr Kadir Topbas on his arrival in Lahore. He said that people of Turkey and Pakistan are tied with historic relations of friendship. He said that collaboration between Punjab and Turkey in various sectors will increase due to visit of Dr Kadir Topbas. Mayor Istanbul Dr Kadir Topbas thanked Sharif on his warm welcome. Kh. Ahmed Hassan, Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin, MNA Pervaiz Malik, Commissioner Lahore Division, CCPO Lahore, DCO Lahore and other concerned officials besides prominent personalities of Turkey were also present on the occasion.
