Capital’s rural areas to have 8 new schools

Government has decided to launch eight new educational projects.

At the cost of Rs 1.49 billion including construction of these new educational institutions in the rural areas of federal capital will start from the next financial year.

The eight projects will include construction of Boys colleges in Pakistan Town and Margalla town, educational institutes for Girls in Khanna dak, sector G-13 and Panjgran and a library in the name of renowned poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz.

Ministry of CADD has included these educational projects in its development budget for the fiscal year 2016-17.

Middle school for girls will be constructed at the cost of Rs 52.5 million in Khanna Dak and Boys college at the cost of Rs 166 million, Boys college at the cost of Rs 250.02 million in Margakka town, Model college for Girls in G-13 at the cost of Rs 465.2 million, upgrading of Girls school into college in Panjgran at the cost of Rs 111 milion. Educational Institute for mentally retarded children will be constructed in H-8 and educational institute for disabled children will be built in G-8 at the cost of Rs 77.2 million. Faiz Ahmad Faiz library will be built at the cost of Rs 371 million in F-10 Markaz.
