Another Pakistani scientist, Imran Khan also a part of gravitational waves discovery

It has emerged that another Pakistani scientist, a 25 year old Imran Khan from Peshawar was also part of the team that discovered gravitational waves, ripples in space and time hypothesised by physicist Albert Einstein a century ago.

Imran Khan has been known to have worked with a team of scientists at Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) that recorded gravitational waves for the first time in history.

A graduate of FAST, he worked with Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), one of the institutions involved in the research.
