Student seeking visa on fake credentials sent on remand

 

 

A district court on Friday handed over a student to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on a seven-day remand as he applied for a visa to Cyprus on fake documents.

FIA anti-human trafficking circle investigation officer Muhammad Arshad told the court that the accused, Shah Fahad, a resident of Peshawar, had submitted fake FSc mark sheet to the Cyprus embassy.

He said that the accused was arrested after the embassy contacted the FIA and pleaded the court to hand over the accused on remand to for further investigation. The court handed over the accused to FIA and adjourned the hearing till February 7
