UNDP country director meets KP’s acting governor



Country Director UNDP, Marc-Andre Franche’s called on the Acting Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Asad Qaiser here at KP House, Islamabad.

The distinguished guest remained with the acting governor for some time and discussed matters of mutual interest with particular reference of Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) and situation in the region.

The acting governor apprised him about steps being taken to bring peace and stability in KP and FATA. He also highlighted the steps underway for ensuring sustainable peace and stability particularly in FATA.

On the occasion the Acting Governor Asad Qaiser said that tribesmen had rendered great sacrifices for the peace of entire region and urged international community to come forward and play their due role in their rehabilitation.
