The bar has been risen and the game has just began: Nescafé Basement Season 4 Launched

The long awaited fourth season of Nescafe Basement (NB)was launched with a jam-packed fun evening held in Lahore, which gave an exclusive first look into #NescafeBasement4.

Nescafe Basement is a cultural home for the youth of today and music is what drives it. The show brings together the best rising talent – musicians and vocalists – who have been handpicked from across Pakistan, and gives them the opportunity to follow their passion.

In the fourth season of NB, these young, aspiring 45 artists have performed their original songs as well as paid tribute to musicians whose songs have shaped the Pakistani music industry. The talent has performed cover versions of these iconic songs by infusing a certain freshness to them which will bring new appeal to the songs, while retaining their original spirit. NB Season 4 chosen artists practiced together vigorously for nearly two months to polish their skills under the guidance of mentor and music producer Xulfi, before ultimately recording this season.

Xulfi promises that a lot of inspiring stories will find a voice through this season.“I am proud to say that through Nescafe Basement, several talented musicians have found an opportunity to explore different avenues of music such as playing in bands, going across the border and singing for local productions. This season, not only will the audience get to hear some exceptional music but also see a lot of emotional and heart stirring stories from behind-the-scenes. The best thing about this platform is that it brings together young aspiring musicians of different backgrounds and bonds them with their mutual passion for music. We have the biggest line-up with 45 musicians this year which has given us the freedom to experiment even more.
