The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad District Administration conducted a joint operation to vacate illegally constructed structures in Baharakahu Girls Degree College.
The operation was conducted on directives of Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
This college had been under illegal occupation for the last six years, said a press release on Saturday.
The minister has appreciated the efforts of CDA and District Administration and that very soon regular academic activities would be started in the college after its formal inauguration.
It may be noted that two weeks earlier encroachments from Islamabad Model College for Boys Sihala were removed and boundary wall of the college was built on personal intervention of the minister.
