The senate on Wednesday passed Minimum Wages for Unskilled Workers (Amendment) Bill 2015.
The bill moved by Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain seeks application of the Minimum Wages for Unskilled Workers Ordinance 1969 to the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Minister for Law and Justice Senator Pervaiz Rashid laid before the house Private Power and Infrastructure Board (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015. It was referred to the Standing Committee concerned for report.
The house also passed a resolution expressing deep grief on the death of eminent writer Intizar Hussain.
