DIG assures support for families of martyred, injured police officials

Deputy Inspector General (Operations), Dr Haider Ashraf Wednesday said that it was first priority of police officers to work for betterment of the families of martyred and injured police officials.

He was addressing a meeting of police officials who were injured and disabled during bomb blasts and encounters incidents in the provincial capital, at Police Lines, Qilla Gujjar Singh.

He said that terrorists could not let down the morale of law enforcement agencies after killing the innocent people.

The DIG directed the incharges of chowkies set up in big hospitals to organise better arrangements of treatment of injured officials.

He said that meeting with injured officials would be held in every week at Police Lines to review progress of cases of the injured officials.
