Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that the culture of merit and transparency has been revived to take the country forward.
He was addressing the trainee officers inducted in the news, program and engineering departments of Radio Pakistan at Pakistan Broadcasting Academy here on Wednesday.
He said Radio Pakistan has taken the lead to revive the culture of merit by recruiting the new officers purely on merit. He said the national broadcaster deserves appreciation for evolving such a mechanism that shut the doors for any illegal recruitment.
Director General Radio Pakistan Imran Gardezi also spoke on the occasion. Later talking to the media, the information minister urged PTI to become part of the solution in the reform process for the wellbeing of the masses.
He said the federal government has not created obstacles in the reforms program of KP and that they expect the same from PTI.
