Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan on Monday resigned from the post of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governor.
According to local media, a senior PML-N leader and an official in the Prime Minister House confirmed that Abbasi’s resignation had been accepted by the prime minister.
According to reports, Mehtab Khan stepped down to pursue a role in parliamentary politics.
