One police personnel was killed and four others injured in a drive-by shooting in Sariab Road area of Quetta on Saturday.
Police said that unidentified armed motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire at a 15-Madadgar Police patrolling vehicle, leaving one police personnel dead on the spot and four others injured, including three policemen.
The assailants managed to escape from the scene.
The police and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the body and injured to hospital.
The condition of some of the injured is stated to be critical.
