Third meeting of the Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG) of Afghanistan, Pakistan, the United States and China on the Afghan Peace and Reconciliation process will be held in Islamabad today (Saturday).
“Let me reconfirm that the meeting of the Quadrilateral Coordination Group, scheduled for 6th February 2016, will be held in Islamabad as planned,” Foreign Office Spokesman Qazi Khalilullah told a weekly press briefing here.
During the QCG meeting, representatives of the four countries will discuss ways and means to advance the Peace and Reconciliation process in Afghanistan.
The Quadrilateral Coordination Group earlier held its two meetings on January 11 and January 18 in Islamabad and Kabul, respectively.
