Director Health Services CDA has said that a 3-day anti polio campaign under CDA will start from February 15 in Islamabad.
He told this in the meeting of district polio eradication committee held here under CDA member of environment Sana Ullah Amman.
He said that anti polio drive will continue up to February 18 and all the necessary arrangements in this regard have been finalized. About 1,36,000 children below five years will be administered polio drops during this campaign in all the sectors and rural areas of federal capital.
He said that Health Services Directorate CDA has set up 427 mobile, 83 permanent and 43 transit teams to make this campaign a success. Islamabad has been divided into 20 different zones. As many as 20 zonal supervisors and 93 area incharge will supervise this campaign and 1,023 polio workers will participate therein.
He stated that about 50 doctors from different hospitals of Islamabad will be part of CDA polio eradication campaign.
