PSL kicks off with fanfare

Pakistan Super League made its debut on Thursday night amid fanfare.

 

The teams representing Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawer and Quetta ruled the stadium where pyrotechnics and musical performances from Ali Zafar and Sean Paul brought the audience to their feet.Featuring emerging talent and veteran fan favorites, the five-teams include 69 local athletes and 29 foreign stars. The 24 match league will be held from February 4-23, with matches in Sharjah and Dubai.
