Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan said on Friday that Kashmir was the jugular vein of Pakistan and the entire nation celebrated the Kashmir solidarity day every year to condemn the Indian occupation of Kashmir.
The purpose of celebrating this day was to show the world that giving the right to self-determination to the people of Kashmir was a must, he said. People had repeatedly appealed to the United Nations (UN) to respect the right of Kashmiris’ self-determination which was their fundamental right so that Kashmiri people could live their lives as per their free will, he added.
