A District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has sent CDA Inspector Enforcement Bilal Zafar to jail on 14 days judicial remand in the Kachchi Abadi case.
Senior Civil Judge Islamabad, Abdul Ghafoor Kakar sent Zafar on judicial remand for his involvement in facilitating establishment of slum in the federal capital.
FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Inspector Afzal Khan Niazi told the court that the accused was arrested on cancellation of his bail from the court of a special judge central, therefore, he should be sent to jail on judicial remand.
The court while granting FIA plea sent the accused to jail on 14 days remand. The court ordered the FIA to present the accused before it with a challan in the next hearing.
The accused was arrested under section 109 and 409 for playing the role of a facilitator in setting up Kachchi abadi in G-7/4.
