More than 260 suspected people were arrested during a search operation by police and security forces in Malikabad area of Swabi district here on Wednesday.
According to District Police Officer DPO Swabi Javed Iqbal, the joint operation was launched on a tip-off. Arms were also recovered from the arrested people, he added.
The DPO said the arrested accused included illegal Afghan nationals, proclaimed offenders and other criminals.
