The Sindh Assembly on Monday demanded cut in oil prices so as to transfer the benefit of massive reduction of oil prices globally to the masses.
Brought before the House as supplementary business, a resolution moved jointly by Nisar Ahmed Khuhro of the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian and Muhammad Hussain Khan of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement stated that “this assembly recommends the Sindh government approaches the federal government to transfer the benefit of reduced oil prices in the international market to the people of Pakistan”.
The resolution was passed unanimously.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the parliamentarians of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan assemblies visited the Sindh Assembly on Monday.
