MQM’s Waseem Akhtar granted permission to fly abroad

An anti-terrorism court on Monday granted permission to Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Waseem Akhtar to go abroad for treatment.
In his plea, Akhtar submitted that he had to go abroad for treatment as he was suffering from a disease that could not be treated in Pakistan. The court accepted his application and allowed him to go abroad for treatment. Meanwhile, the Sindh High Court on Monday extended bail of Waseem Aktar in a hate speech case until February 10.
