LPG price likely to decrease by Rs 5-10 per kg

Price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is likely to decrease by Rs 5 to 10 per kg in the country after decline in its price the international market.

During the last month, LPG price went down by $70 per metric tonne in the global market which could trigger a price reduction in Pakistan also by February 4, according to official sources.

LPG dealers believe that the price could be reduced by Rs 5-10 per kg.

The LPG price was $376 per metric tonne in the global market in January 2016, which has now fallen to $307 per metric tonne.
