A decision has been taken to set up six cattle markets on a permanent basis in Rawalpindi division.
The functions will start in April.
Cattle Market Management Company (CMMC) Rawalpindi division sources said that these markets will be established in Gondal, Domel, Pindigheb, Talagang, Kalli Jagir and Chakwal.
CMMC General Manager Rawalpindi division Mansoor Ahmad said that healthy and clean environment will be maintained in these cattle markets besides providing all facilities.
He claimed that no entry fee will be charged. Auction process for setting up hotels, fodder shops, canteens and general stalls will be completed by February 25, he said.
