Three suspects were arrested as post-mortem of Shadbagh Police Station House Officer (SHO) Tajammul Hussain Butt was completed on Sunday.
According to the post-mortem report, the SHO was shot seven times. It was also revealed that he was not killed during a dacoity bid.
The two persons who were present with the SHO at the time of his murder and the one, who had called him at the site of killing, have been arrested.
The police also reportedly obtained the mobile phone call records of all the three suspects.
The SHO was killed on Saturday by the firing of unknown assailants in Phase-7 of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Lahore, where he had gone to see a plot with his two friends.
