Former Sindh home minister and PPP disgruntled leader Dr Zulfiqar Mirza on Saturday said that he still considered Lyari gang-war leader Uzair Baloch his brother.
“I am thankful to the Almighty God that he hasn’t been killed like Baba Ladla,” he said while speaking to media persons on Saturday. Zulfiqar Mirza said the arrest of Uzair Baloch would help arrest and return of leaders from abroad and several other criminals would also be arrested soon.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, he said, was doing his work with honestly but he (Nisar) was facing many hurdles in this regard. On the other hand, Senior Minister Nisar Khoro said that the arrest of Uzair Bloch might be a reaction of statement against Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar. He questioned as to where did Uzair Bloch remain in hiding for many days. He said he did not know Uzair Baloch. If the law enforcement agency had arrested him, then he might be a criminal, he added. It may be added that the Lyari gang-war leader, Uzair Baloch, was arrested by Rangers personnel on the outskirts of Karachi.
