Introduction of video lectures will minimize student’s dependence on tuition: Dr Tariq

Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CA&DD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has said that introduction of blended education through video lectures in schools and colleges will increase the quality and ultimately the learning out come.

He said this during a ceremony signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and Sabaq Foundation Trust on Friday.

The minister said that in this age of information technology and communications, access to information through technology is essential for every student.

Sabaq Foundation’s video lectures program is a very good step to facilitating students, he added. He hoped that introduction of such videos in Islamabad schools and colleges will not only help teachers to prepare their lesson plans in a better manner.

MoU was signed between DG Federal Directorate of Education Dr. Moin Uddin Wani and Iqbal Mustafa Khan, Chairman Sabaq Foundation Trust.

During briefing chairman Sabaq Foundation said that Sabaq Foundation main objective is to create world class tutoring videos for Pakistani students studying in public Schools. He informed that all videos created by Sabaq Foundation are available free of cost through its website.

  1. If this is been producing something good for the students then it must be promoted among some other respective authorities to take part in such guidelines, also there would be less worries for the new students.
