The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has failed to get possession of 150 plots in Park Enclave Phase-II.
The CDA was awarded contract of the scheme in October 2014 against a payment of around Rs1.26 billion and the development work on the project was to be completed in a year. However, 16 months have passed work on the project could not be completed.
A source in the CDA said that around 10 per cent still have houses in the area and the civic agency has failed to evacuate them, which has been awarded to applicants after taking 10 per cent of the total payment.
According to the source, due to the attitudes of the CDA management, infrastructure development of the project has also been delayed.
The CDA has received more than 750 applications against 315 available plots and the civic agency has collected over 1.50 billion from the applicants, however, it has failed to complete the project.
The CDA spokesperson was contacted for his version on the issue, however, he did not reply.
