An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday reissued non-bailable warrants for the arrest of 73 Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders and workers, including party chief Altaf Hussain in around 10 cases for delivering and listening to a speech criticising the military establishment.
Besides the MQM chief, ATC-I judge Bashir Ahmed Khoso issued non-bailable arrest warrants for MQM’s mayoral candidate for Karachi Waseem Akhtar, senior party leaders Farooq Sattar, Khawaja Izharul Hassan, , Qamar Mansoor, Rehan Hashmi , Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Rasheed Godil, Kaiful Wara and others and ordered to produce all the accused in the court on February 08.
non-bailable arrest warrant is no answer to the case , people wants clear-cut opinion from law .
Not first time non-bailable arrest warrants issued against them. They never have been arrested so far and it looks like more of a mockery of Judicial system in the country.
