The Punjab government Friday announced to bear all treatment expenses of ailing legendary short story writer and author Intizar Hussain (Sitara-e-Imtiaz).
Intizar Hussain, 93, is a diabetic patient and has been under treatment for pneumonia and kidney diseases also.
Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent a bouquet for the author and prayed for his early recovery.
The chief minister, in his message to Intizar Hussain, said that the legend author was proud for the entire nation and the provincial government would spare no efforts for ensuring appropriate curing facilities for him.
