Unidentified motorcyclists hurled a cracker at a check post of Rangers in North Nazimabad on Friday morning, which blasted creating panic in the area.
According to Rangers sources, the miscreants after hurling the cracker managed to escape. No injury was reported in the incident.
A contingent of law enforcement personnel reached the venue and cordoned off the area.
According to Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), a home-made bomb weighing 250 grams was placed in a bottle.
Meanwhile, two armed suspects tossed a hand grenade near a shop and a private company in Liaquatabad’s Super Market. Luckily, no person was hurt in this incident also. The suspects managed to flee.
