Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned home on Wednesday after his visit to Switzerland where he attended the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos.
During his visit to Switzerland, the prime minister participated in a number of global events and held bilateral meetings with a number of important political and business leaders of the world.
The prime minister had very firmly presented his vision of Pakistan, highlighting his government’s efforts towards the regional stability and connectivity.
He also addressed a huge gathering of business leaders organized by the Pathfinder Group and participated in a WEF ‘Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders (IGWEL)’ where he interacted with top business and political leaders.
The prime minister also visited European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, as a demonstration of Government of Pakistan’s strong commitment to the promotion of science and technology at home.
