FIA arrest wanted man after 16 years

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested a wanted passenger after living abroad for 16 years, here at Benazir Bhutto International Airport as his name was included in Exit Control List (ECL).

According to FIA sources, Muhammad Ahmed, resident of Sector F11, had escaped from the country in 1992 after committing a crime and was declared a proclaimed offender. His name was put on the ECL.

He arrived through flight PK 702 from Manchester and was arrested by the FIA.
