Anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Wednesday handed over, three suspected terrorists involved in an attack on F-8 court, to police custody on physical remand till 8 February.
The accused identified as Jan Muhammad aka Zain, Abdul Qafoor aka Ahmed and Qamar-uz-Zaman aka Malang were apprehended by counter-terrorism department (CTD) after which they were taken into police custody for further investigation.
The district court in F-8 was attacked in March2014. At least 12 people including an additional Session Judge, five lawyers and other people died in the incident.
Police officers said that the attack was carried out by terrorists to sabotage the peace in the region.
