As many as two persons, including a woman, on Wednesday committed suicide by hanging themselves with fans in different areas in the metropolis.
According to sources, Zaib-un-Nisa, 40, wife of Ghulam Muhammad, committed suicide by hanging herself with a fan in the house room near PECHS Society, Block-02. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy.
A man, identified as Yasir, 35, son of Zahoor, committed suicide by hanging herself with a fan in the room near Dastagir Society, Block-09 in Federal-B-Area. The body was brought to JPMC for an autopsy.
