Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah stopped halfway through his speech to the Sindh High Court Bar Association on Tuesday when a senior lawyer protested for the release of his son from a jail and accused all politicians of making hollow promises.
Qaim had to stop his speech due to the protest for some time.
“All of you come and make fake promises. No one is sincere with us. I need my son’s issue to be resolved,” said senior lawyer Abdul Sattar, registering his protest with the chief minister.
According to details, Qaim was addressing the lawyers on the occasion of an event at SHC Bar when he was interrupted by advocate Abdul Sattar.
Qaim could not resume his speech again until other lawyers calmed and silenced the enraged advocate.
The chief minister however assured the senior lawyer that he would try his best to resolve the issue of release of his son.
