Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continue the fight against terrorism until the complete elimination of the menace from the country.
In an interview, he said that the government is taking effective steps to eliminate terrorism and extremism. He said that on the prime minister’s directives, federal ministers including Abdul Qadir Baloch, Baleegh-ur-Rehman, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and he himself, visited the Bacha Khan University soon after the attack to express solidarity with the families of the victims.
To a question, he said the operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched to purge the country of anti-state elements, and will continue until that target is accomplished.
