The Sindh government in the larger public interest has launched EZ-effective feedback redressal mechanism initially for four departments and sectors for which the applicants will receive a call in the voice of the chief minister and SMS about their application. The applicants would also be able to file their complaints in reply of the SMS in case of any problem.

The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at CM House on Sunday. Senior Minister for Finance Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Siddique Memon, Additional Chief Secretary (Dev) Aijaz Ali Khan, Principal Secretary to CM Alamuddin Bullo, Secretary Finance Sohail Rajput and other concerned officers and representative of the a private firm attended the meeting.

Secretary Finance Sohail Rajput while briefing the CM said that a an easy, EZ-effective feedback redressal mechanism was being developed for giving feed back to public for redressal of their grievances, requests and applications.

He said for the purpose a call centre had been established in the finance department initially for four different but important sectors such as registration of property, motor vehicle registration, payment of pension and reimbursement of medical expenditures.

“When an applicant will file his application for registration of property, vehicles, payment of pension and reimbursement of medical bills, he/she would be informed through a robo-call that application has been received and about its status/process,” he said, adding if the chief  minister approved the project it would be launched soon.

The chief minister approved the project and directed senior minister for finance Syed Murad Ali Shah to launch the project as he had envisaged it for four sectors initially. This service must be extended to other important departments such as education, local government and police, he urged.
