Flight operations at Benazir airport resume after 13 hours

Flight operations at Benazir Bhutto International Airport resumed at 12:20PM Sunday after remaining suspended for 13 hours due to dense fog.

The flight operation was suspended at 11:30 pm on Saturday night. According to Civil Aviation Authority, visibility at Benazir Bhutto International Airport noted at 50 meters in the morning.

Some 31 flights have been affected due to foggy condition around the airport.

Meanwhile, a Pakistan International Airline spokesman has requested the passengers to get updates from call center 051-111786786 before leaving for airport.
