The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police on Saturday arrested more than 70 suspects, including a most wanted terrorist, during targeted search operations in different areas of the city.
According to CTD, the most wanted terrorist Fiaz was arrested in a raid conducted in Shahabkhel area of Badbher on a tip-off about his presence. He is wanted to police in cases related to attacks on the security forces and extortion.
Meanwhile, the police arrested at least 70 suspects, including 13 Afghan nationals, from different areas of Peshawar. The police also recovered weapons from some of the arrested people.
