Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has said that despite difficulties the friendship of Pakistan and China will further grow with every passing day and its main reason is the love and faith between the people of both countries.
He expressed these views at a reception given in the honour of a business delegation of Pakistan-China Friendship Association at Governor House on Saturday.
He said the coordination between Pakistan and China was ideal in every respect which was unprecedented in the world. He said China had always remained a trusted friend of Pakistan. He said the agreements were signed on the visit of Chinese president to Pakistan was the evidence that China wanted to see Pakistan stable economically.
Ebad said that economic coordination between both countries had been accelerated after the agreements of China-Pakistan Free Trade in 2007 and the trade volume between the both countries had reached $13 billion. He said that interest of Chinese investors, especially in energy and communication sectors, would support Pakistan in growing faster.
He said the Pak-China Economic Corridor was a splendid and unprecedented project and the projects of 46 billion dollars would open new doors for economic development. He said that economic corridor passing through the large parts of the country would not only create thousands of new jobs but also enhance business activities.
The governor said that every possible facility was being provided to the Chinese investors in Pakistan and it would help to enhance the investment in country. On this occasion, the leader of China-Pakistan Friendship Association thanked Pakistan for such a hospitality. He said that economic corridor was reflective of the excellent relations of both countries. He said the exchange of delegations of associations would continue on a regular basis.
