The court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for former auditor general of Pakistan (AGP) Buland Akhtar Rana on the Federal Investigation Agency’s request.
According to media reports, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Buland Akhtar Rana on the request of the FIA’s Crime Circle, for concealing his Canadian citizenship, and other charges.
Buland Akhtar Rana has absconded to avoid his arrest. The FIA has started conducting raids in different areas to nab him. However, no information of his arrest had been received till the filing of this report.
Buland Akhtar Rana’s name has been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL), media reports add.
