Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Fazal Chaudhry on Friday said construction work on Islamabad Citizens Club in F-9 Park would be completed this year.
Replying to a calling attention notice raised by Muhammad Javed Abbasi regarding the delay in completion of Islamabad Citizens Club in F-9 Park, the minister said the PC-1 had been revised of the project which featured a number of facilities for the citizens.
He said though project suffered some delays in past, but now, he added work was going in smooth manner and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had tasked its engineering department to go ahead with the project.
The minister informed that presently no proper trauma centre existed in the PIMS to deal with around 4,000 traumas related cases and its number was gradually growing, the minister added.
However, he added, in emergency units a trauma centre had been formed, but solid measures would be made to construct a state-of-the-art trauma centre which could cater to the growing requirements.
