Another patient suffering from swine-flu died on Friday, raising the death toll to eight across Punjab.
The swine flu patient died at Holy Family hospital on Friday.
DG health Punjab said that around 53 patients were provided with medical assistance in various hospitals due to swine-flu disease.
The Punjab chief secretary has directed DG health Punjab to provide best possible medical treatment to patients suffering from swine-flu.
