Minister for Information Pervez Rashid on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda.
Speaking in the National Assembly (NA), he expressed deep grief over the deaths of students and staffers and stated that all the political, security and military entities have to be united to combat the menace of terrorism.
He said that militants cannot frighten the Pakistani nation. He informed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, soldiers, and special forces launched ground and air operations at the university in a bid to shut down the assault.
He said a detailed report with all the relevant information was being prepared, which will be forwarded to higher authorities for further investigation.
