A man was burnt to death when a house caught fire here on Wednesday evening.
Police officials said the fire erupted due to an electric short-circuit at a house in Shah Dorewala area of Multan. The victim was identified as 35-year-old Shaukat Ali.
Locals rushed and extinguished the fire. Police arrived at the scene and shifted the body to Nishtar Hospital for postmortem. Neighbours of Shaukat Ali said he was living all alone in the house for the last one year.
