Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak on Wednesday expressed grief over the brutal massacre that took place at Bacha Khan University on Wednesday morning.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that he is in contact with the concerned departments despite being in Scotland.
He said that KP government is assisting Pakistan Army, intelligence agencies and other security personnel in launching the investigation against the attack.
“It’s a war, which has to be won by the united efforts. I urge all the parties and international community to play encouraging role in war on terror,” he added.
He revealed that the terrorists still have hideouts near Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
He assured that the forces are holding anti-terrorist operations in the province to ensure the law and order situation however, the main issue is to stop the militants from destroying peace of the region.
